Echo House is located in a community where over fifty percent
of the residents live at or below the poverty line. Echo House
has been helping to support the families in this community
for over forty years. Over the years, one thing remains consistent-
that is the need for Echo House's services in the community.
The future of Echo House includes a facility to accommodate the growth that Echo House is experiencing. Plans have been made to secure the property where the new facility will be located. Unfortunately, it is not easy to obtain the funding needed to build the new facility. Lives of this community hang in the balance as we continue to struggle with the availability of funding for the resources Echo House needs to nurture our programs and to house the growing needs of our community. "Good people, promising children and caring families live and work in Southwest Baltimore. Our neighbors need our expansion to help them move toward their won positive futures," expresses Randolph T. Edwards, a member of the Echo House Board of Directors. This new facility will offer resources to the community that most communities take for granted that are not available for families and individuals in Southwest Baltimore.
The facility will provide resources to the community such as:
As you can see, this is more than just a building. To the community this will be more than just a place to visit. This will be home to many whom need guidance, comfort, support, and hope. Echo House is ready to take this to the next stepping stone to motivate the people in this community to move towards a brighter future. It is our mission and our commitment to improve those lives who need revitalization.
Echo House has come full-circle thanks to our supporters. Make the commitment with us. Join or volunteer your time, contribute financially or in-kind. We need your help. Making a difference is an everlasting gift.
